GTS Data Network Service allows the connection of local area network (LAN) utilizing wide area network (WAN) technologies. We recommend this service to our customers having several sites and wishing to establish data communication between their organisational units by a cost-effective, highly-reliable, flexibly sizeable network solution.
The basis of
GTS Data Network Service is provided by frame relay and X.25 network protocol based data-communication solution, in which data-communication is established between the user end-points through so called virtual circuits (SVC - Switched Virtual Circuit, PVC - Permanent Virtual Circuit).
The existing network can be easily extended or modified if required. In the case of connecting new sites, for example, it is not necessary to establish physical connection with all existing end-points. It is enough to connect the new site with one physical line to the network and through virtual circuits data communication can be ensured with all other end-points. The data transmission capacity of these virtual links (their guaranteed bandwidth) can be defined on a large scale, thus the network can be modified fast and easily according to the relevant requirements.
The
GTS Data Network Service will support any arbitrary network protocol, thus it can be rendered compatible with any informatics system very easily. In the course of the employment of the service there is a possibility for traffic prioritisation if requested.
Owing to our International Partners (British Telecom, AT&T, Cable&Wireless), the
GTS Data Network Service can also be utilized internationally, with foreign end-point(s), providing effective communication possibility with almost any country in the world.
The quality of the service is guaranteed by an ISO 9002 standard based internal quality assurance system, in which the methods of network management, maintenance and trouble shooting are controlled by strict directions and procedures. The
GTS Data Network Service links are all along monitored. The 24-hour network management and the Hotline error complaint service is performed by highly qualified professionals of GTS.
